It seems like it’s nearly impossible to find a bridal or formal dress that is a perfect fit right off-the-rack. Tailoring a few seams can change your look from just okay to drop dead gorgeous. We aim to provide the highest quality bridal and formal alterations. This includes wedding dresses, mother-of-the-bride/groom, prom, and other special event gowns.
We do not accept any costumes, casual clothes, or street wear.
We do not offer services for men’s wear.
What to expect:
Each alteration appointment is a one-on-one meeting with Ruthy (owner/lead designer). The first appointment is typically the initial try-on or fitting. Ruthy will observe you in your dress to assess the fit issues and pin the necessary adjustments, sizing the garment perfectly to your body. Before you leave, Ruthy will schedule your return appointment. Standard bridal/formal alterations (resizing, hemming, adding bra cups, shortening straps or shoulders, ect.) generally takes a minimum of 4 weeks to complete. If your gown requires a major size change, a customization/redesign, or an intense, time-consuming alteration, you may require multiple fitting appointments and a larger timeline for total completion. Please call and schedule your appointment at least 3 months before your wedding date. If you are unsure about the severity of your alterations needs, we recommend calling to schedule as soon as possible.
A $100.00 booking fee is required to officially hold your appointment date and time. This deposit is not an additional fee and will be applied to your total alteration cost on the day of your appointment. Booking deposits are non-refundable in the event of client no-show or cancellation.
During the first appointment, Ruthy will work up a price quote, tallying up your total alterations fee. Alteration costs vary from dress to dress depending on the amount of work required, the complexity of the repairs, and the time involved. A downpayment on your alterations fee (half the total amount) is required at the first fitting, the remaining balance is then due at the final/pickup appointment.
Considering the high demand for our services and the time required for each appointment, we ask that you respect your set appointment time. Late arrivals will be required to reschedule and pay an additional mandatory $100.00 fee.

What to bring:
For your fitting appointment please bring your dress, your wedding shoes and all undergarments (bra, shapewear, etc.) that you will be wearing on the wedding day, this is crucial for properly adjusting the fit of your gown. You are welcome to bring a veil and other accessories to try on with your dress during your appointment but it is not required. You are more than welcome to bring a friend or loved-one to accompany you at your appointment as well.
